Good morning stop for breakfast! Good food, fast friendly service!
Great breakfast and seating, good spot for coffee and 🍩 donuts. Road side parking for a quick in and out.
MoreExcellent food and friendly staff!
Best manjus in the world. Pineapple...Apple...Coconut..Peach...Black bean...Ube(purple sweetpotato)...and I wish I didn't share any when I brought some back to Virginia.
MoreNice bakery with a good selection for breakfast. There is breakfast, a few baked goods as well as coffee and a few other products such as chips, wine and local goods. They have a restroom too in case you're wondering (since you can't easily spot it).
MoreOne of a kind a must to visit when in kauai
Great food and good value
We always make sure to stop here. The cookies are delicious and they have yummy snacks!
MoreGreat coffee, helpful staff! Very friendly!
Nice spot for a bit of breakfast. Lots of indoor seating and a wide variety of food
MoreWorkers couldn’t tell me what was in most of the food. Do not come here if you have a food allergy. I wasted my money on this place. Worker gave me attitude when I asked what was in the food. Responded “I have no idea” “I’ve never even seen it” okay, then how am I supposed to know I can eat it? Extremely poor customer service. Wouldn’t even look at me when she gave the food at our table. Horrible negative vibe. Food wasn’t even good.
MoreGood variety of foods and gifts. Charming old building
Try the gluten free cookies they are so good!!
Friendly service and tasty food
Awesome Place to buy Cookies from to bring back home for Families & Friends!
The people are so happy. We had breakfast and picked up snacks for our hike. They made my day with happiness and oh yeah the food was great. TRY IT
MoreGood but pretty pricey for the plate lunches. Great coffees and bakery goods, variety of cookie flavors. I go there only as a last resort.
MorePassion fruit chiffon pie is to die for.
Ordered the special mixed plate and their famous loco moco. Mixed plate was great with super crispy fried chicken, teriyaki rib eye(I’ve had better, but still good) and tempura like battered shrimp. The loco moco was the winner. Truly famous. The hamburger was mixed with onions and the egg cooked perfectly. Also came back with a huge haul of guava cookies!
MoreGreat whole in the wall breakfast. Had the Kauai scramble with the Portuguese sausage. Generous portion and very tasty.
MoreLove this place and all it has to offer! Delicious freshly baked goods infused with island flavors make this a must stop on your Kauai vacation!! Kauai kookie bakery is the best!
MoreGood food! Service is great and they sell bottles of liquor
Great breakfast and French toast. The cookies are incredible- loved the guava and pineapple! Tons of desserts, wish we could have tried them all!
MoreDecent amount of parking. Lots of Kookie options and other snacks. Good food options and lots of cold beverages.
MoreCute little place with a little bit of everything! Food was good!
Forget the cookies, let's talk about the fried chicken. Available in styles such as teriyaki, Korean, and more, this stuff is delicious. Get it plate lunch style with rice and mac salad or tossed salad w papaya seed dressing. In addition to the made to order stuff, they also have a bunch of grab and go items, both hot and cold, and a cooler full of drinks, alcoholic and non. Coffee and desserts, too! Right on the highway, so easy to see and stop, with parking in the rear.
MorePricey but definitely a must try at least once!
Great burgers and sweet cookies! What else could you ask for? Oh yeah, deli style sandwiches and scrumptious brownies! They have handbaskets you can fill with their delicious cookies. Only downside is the cost is a bit high, but the calories are worth the added cost. Yummmm!
MoreI wish I had written down the name of the little gem of a pastry they sell at the counter. It was like a small apple pie in a 2" rectangle. Delish.
MoreFine place to eat if you need to eat right now. Half store half snack bar. Food okay. Typical Hawaian high prices.
MoreLoco moco oh so ono, mahaloz aunty Kathy.
This is a good place for lunch or a snack. I had the bento box, which had a selection of meats and fish along with rice and pickled daikon. It's a very generous portion, and I took about half of it home for later. Their chocolate pie was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
MoreLoco moco is on point.
My review is of the bakery as opposed to the restaurant portion. I’m a big fan of the Kauai Kookie! Such delicious little pieces of shortbread goodness. I appreciate the diversity in flavors. They have guava, passion fruit, coffee, coconut, and many other flavors. If you’re not sure what you want, they have a little sampling station up front by the entrance. An opportunity to “try it before you buy it.”Check out this place for excellent locally produced cookies. Also the daily baked rolls and breads are delicious too.
MoreFood was good, cheap and does the job especially if your staying somewhere without breakfast included. Don't expect much service though haha
MoreKookie what a find ...if man could live on kookie ill choose this bakery. And they service breakfast here the Hawaiian french toast. .was a great choice for me...ill be back
MoreWe stopped and had a cinnamon roll and an apple turnover. Both were excellent!
Unique little stop and go type store. Have 7-8 different type of cookies to sample about the size of a quarter. Liked the macadamia shortbread cookies the best. Also have pies by the slice or whole pie, ice cream, drinks, snack food, refrigerated sandwiches, some clothing, a few cards & post cards and some other items.
MoreGreat bakery. Definitely worth the stop, we'll be back.
Good local foods at fair price.
Always bomb.com at Kauai Kookie Kalaheo
Stopped for the first time today. We had lunch. It was wonderful.
Kauai Kookie Bakery & Kitchen is an institution here on the island. Good local food, the kind that you won't find on the mainland. Nice selection of local products like honey, jams, and other pre-packaged items you can't find anywhere else other than Kauai (so you can do some gift shopping while you wait for your drink or food to be prepared). The staff aren't overly bubbly (or annoying and fake like at some other places haha), they're local (kind, friendly, down-to-earth). And the prices are affordable! 6 bucks for 2 donuts and a large Americano! Not overinflated like at other places. Definitely come to experience where the LOCALS have been going for YEARS.
MoreFried Rice! Musubi, Espresso, Shaved Ice. Their retail markup on their Kookies is hight, but hot food prices are fair. Staff was super friendly to me.
MoreGood place for a quick bite to eat
Stopped for my husband to get kookies.
Great little place! Friendly service, excellent coffee. Try the Kaua'i omelet - best I've had in a long time! And Dad said the same thing about the corned beef hash.
MoreBeautiful awesome experience of the culture here in Hawaii the food was amazing
Its okay depends on who's cooking..sometimes the food is over cooked and tough...great service!!👍
